Time For A Change?

One thing I think that most of us have noticed is the decided differences between those on the progressive left, and conservatives on the right. What is most striking is how all in one group stick together, no matter what because, in my opinion, it’s party first, individual? Well, we’ll get to you. Conservatives on the other hand are like a clowder of cats and very difficult to hed, not only i the same direction, but to the same sandbox. We see this behavior with our elected officials. One party votes like a bloc (99.99% of the time) whereas the other has to beg its members to hold together for a majority vote. These actions translate downstream to we the constituency.where one ideology is firm in their beliefs, in general, and the other group of ideologues can’t seem to decide who belongs at the table. Guess which is which.

Speak For Yourself

There’s something that always irritates me and of course it happens every day and no matter how hard I try, I can’t avoid it. This occurs on every news channel and every politically oriented podcast (even some that aren’t particularly politically oriented). You’ve heard this too, even if you never watch or listen to anything that is the slightest political. For me it’s when, especially in politically oriented media, a person uses the phrase all Americans, or all of America. I always question how this is known. Is there a poll? Well, sometimes there’ll be a mention of a poll but I’ve never seen one where 100% of American voters, either registered or likely, agree on anything. There’s always going to be a majority of sorts, but none at 100%.

Don’t Let the Door Hit You on Your Way Out

Notice that whenever a Republican wins the presidency, there are a lot of (rich) people claiming they’re leaving the U.S. fpr good because, Republicans are bad (or something). This last election, i was that Donald Trump is a Fascist. His opponent, the current Vice President of these United States even responded affirmatively when asked directly if she believed Trump was a Fascist. Seriously. I recall watching that with mouth agape. I mean, you may not like your political opponent, but to declare that person, and his or her followers as something evil, even as Hitler, goes beyond the pale in my opinion. I really believe that helped Mr. Trump win.

Trump in the Bronx

I watched some of the recent Trump rally in the Bronx. Nothing new here from Trump, these rallys are always a version of the Make America Great Again meme. Don’t grt mer wrong, he;s a good speaker, and encourages the crowds he receives, but not much news comes out of any of them. Except in this case, the rally itself became news. Not because of content, because of location.

Law fare and Nothing but Law fare

Honestly. i am so exhausted from wall-to-wall Trump news stories. every time I want to watch the news. It’s almost all any of them discuss. There seems to be only three stories the U.S. media are covering in overdrive: Trump, Gaza protests , and Immigration. Trump, trumps the news, always in first place (no pun here) then, depending on the day, it’s either immigration or Gaza protests for second place. Is there nothing else going on in the world that may be of interest to viewers?
