There’s a lot I haven’t figured out yet, but the Podcast Project is moving along. I found what should be a decent microphone and headset for not too much money. Believe me, a person can spend, well, hundreds, on that alone. Then it came down to what platform to use. IT has been Spotify that has provided a lot of help to date but I have more investigation to do there.

An easy one is how is everyone notified of a new podcast? I think now, a person would have to be a subscriber but is there. way I can tweet (“X”) it out so that at least to begin with, there’s something new out there. I had to order my new headset which will be here Saturday. I’m going to make an effort this weekend to do some testing to see how it all works together, including my clumsy attempt at editing, before I sit and record something for publishing on Spotify.

I don’t think I’ll be able to dome then one per week, if I can do it st sll. I’ll start with the introduction one and see how that goes. Unlike some others, I don’t have anyone else to help me with any part of the pre-production research pr post production so my first attempt will probably be pushing it to do 30 minutes, but I’m going to shoot for that length.
