I’ve been following at least 2 different discussions on Twitter about conservatism and social values. More specifically, can someone be a conservative and be pr-choice? The back-and-forth has ben fascinating and I’ve been surprised by some notable conservatives responses.
I’ve seen many complaints in the last few weeks from conservative tweeters that to the it appears that Twitter is actively suppressing their and others viewpoints. They show screen grabs in some cases where they are not allowed to see certain tweets, and some prominent conservatives have spoken out that some of their tweets are never seen by their followers.

I forgot to mention that I was interviewed on the Blueball Skeptics podcast recently. Damion and Chas, BTW, are just great and we had a wonderful conversation.
They both wanted to understand how I could call myself a skeptic and atheist, while still holding true to basic conservative principles (small, non-intrusive, government).
I think you’ll enjoy part one. Part two, if I recall goes a bit deeper into topics which we were all interested.

Today has been a special day. It’s been a special day not only for us Yanks, but for countries around the world. For my friends in the UK, for my Canadian compatriots, and especially for some very good friends from Australia and New Zealand.
