Explaining Political Beliefs in Unrelated Subjects

One fairly new activity for me is perusing YouTube. I was really amazed with all of the various videos on topics I never considered people would be spending time creating. From renovating homes to creating living spaces in vans, along with topics in hstory, archeology, and the various sciences. I’ve come to the conclusion that I really only need a single channel to view. Well, maybe not, but you get my point, right? there’s a lot out there that conforms, I believe, to everyone’s taste. Sure, for the majority of you, my “find” is old news. Well, I never claimed to e on top of verything around me. I am happy to find that the new mewdia sites are less of the usual. One thing I’ve found off-putting are people veering away from the purpose of their channel to make some political statement based on current events.

What Was That You Said?

I spend an obscene amount of time on social media. No, I’m not a “content creator” in that I spawn videos of topics I wish to draw attention. I an a peruser of those though as well as just regular folks, like me, that want to express a view, well, just because. I often find people that whole-heartedly agree with me and of course, some that do not. Thats okay because I don’t claim to always be right, but I need more than “you’re wrong” to begin rethinking any position. My social medium of choice is X, and has been for a long time. It’s interesting to get the take of so many people on subjects that, well, don’t really mean anything.
