Yes, this is a form of the Dear Muslima remark. Admittedly, a microagression is not as severe an aggression as acid being thrown in your face, etc. But dismissing the less threatening aggresson by comparing it to a much more heinous aggression is not the rational approach to dealing with such matters, and is in fact a logical fallacy.
