Democracy is at Stake! Don’t Vote! (For the Wrong Person)

I forgot to do something today; Watch any news. Forgot, heh. I don;t have to watch the news to narrate it to anyone. See if I’m close: Story after story about Trump on trial, and then more on the student protests on college campuses across the country and who’s doing what about it. Am I close?

As for the Presidential election, what more do you need to know? This is the first time in our history where both candidates have a record as president. If you don’t know who you’re voting for by now, you probably won’t be voting. It’s strange to see this amount of polarization in our country the last few years. President Biden didn’t help anything when he gve his “Nszi Speech” that evening in Pennsylvania where the backdrop was, black and red. Any squishy Republicans that thought about not voting for Donald Trump, and a slew of Indempendt voters, just changed their minds.

Biden talks about unity and then gives speeches on the danger to “our. democracy” if he’s not reelected. He’s been more authoritarian than any president since FDR. At least Roosevelt had the excuse of a world war. Biden? Chaos. Which he created. Will we, as voters, reelect him considering his greatest ahesiev ment of adding nearly 20% of increasedprices fr everything you buy – some speific items being much higher. But image if you had that estimated $11,700 in your pocket today.

Like a child with a matchbook, hes become the world’s arsonist. How many wars were under way before 2021? How many now and then there’s the increasing thereat of China and Taiwan. Of course Iran.

But what will we get with Trump? Well, the past is never the present or the future but his presidency was nothing if not entertaining. We were at peace, mostly. The economy,y, before the crested “pandemic” was strong. How much credit goes to politicians for that? Well, they like to take it sll when the news is good tslking hw their policies are working. But it’s really the confidence level of business, big and small, along with Wall Street that determines the outlook for the proceeding years.
