Whatever happened to the #BringBackOurGirls hashtag? In fact, the whole story of the atrocities of Boko Haram in Nigeria?

I think we in the west must have ADD, always looking for the next disaster while a far worse one is still occurring. Look at the news in the USA, it’s Bergdahl, Bergdahl, Bergdahl. Right before that, it was the nutcase in California that stabbed and shot 6 people. Hint: He’s dead. Move on. No more speculative stories about his mental health. I’ve come to the point that I won’t even watch the news anymore. Just like a few months ago with the Malaysian Airlines flight 377 “disappearance”. Was that a cluster story or what?

Maybe, as Netizens, we could help change the dialogue. We all know that the news follows what’s trending on the Internet so why can’t we at least assist them in focusing on stories that actually mean something? Stories to help end suffering?

Enough said. For now
