Don’t Presume Others Need your Advice

I’ve a friend that’s just full of advice for anything that happens to be going on in anyone’s life. Man or woman, it’s there. Me? I dislike dispensing advice to people I know because I am fairly certain my life is no more perfect than anyone else and that if I have that kind of prescience, I should probably have my own television show, shouldn’t I? If I want advice, I’ll ask for it. From someone that knows me well – like a family member or a friend I’ve had for a decade or two. the idea being, these people know me pretty well and wouldn’t (I hope) tend to give me poor advice based on some prejudice. My advice 🤠, in general, without knowing any of you is to be careful to whom you attempt to advise without their consent, unless you’re looking to lighten your Christmas card burden.
