Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the veritable flood of religiosity all over our air waves as well as online? Not that this wasn’t apparent before, but now there are people coming out of the woodwork invoking their evangelical or catholic dogmas and of course, damning those of us that are either not very spiritual, ,or like me, atheist. All of it has to do with being a patriot and of course, anyone that doesn’t believe in god, cannot be a patriot.

By perusing this blog, you may have gotten the impression that I am against this war. You’re impression is corrrect. Yes, I’m a conservative and I cannot believe we’re into one more of these wars choice. That’s right, Secretary of State Rubio himself indocated on the forst day that there really wasn’t an imminent threat of attack on U.S. assets in the region or the U.S. itself. No, it was that Israel told the U.S., they were going to attack whether or not we were with them. So why couldn’t our president have just said, “Go ahead. You‘re on your own”?

Does the Israel lobby actually have that kind of hold on our country? If that’s true, this is worse than it’s been advertised. Would the midterm election be affected by us not going in and having Israel take the brunt of what could have been a massive retalitory missile attack? Possible, but just a year ago, when Israel began an air campaign that we later joined in on(The 12 Day War), Israel destroyed a lot of Iranian infrastructure and didn’t suffer proportionally.

But hey, I can’t be a patriot, concerned for. my country because I don’t think “I owe Israel anything. I don’t think it has to do with my being an atheist but suffice to say, I’m not propagandized by church leaders of every stripe that are cheering on the destrucyion of another mideast country under the auspices of the United States ( Yes, we had an effort in Syria as well. Remember? Yemen? Libya?) We seem to do nothing but destabilize the region for one small country of 9 million. Lebanon is next up on the radar. Mark these words.

I won’t allow these Christian-Zionists and Jews to brainwash me as they have the sheep in their congregations, waiting for the slaughter.
