I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube lately. Why? I don’t really know other than I can find some very interesting topics on there and there is no end to the variety, or so it seems. One area I’ve been watching quite a bit are video series of people striking out on their pwn and living in their cars or vans. On purpose. Yes, in most cases, the vans have been converted to have the helpful accoutrements of a home, even having a toilet and shower crammed into them (Think about the size of a van!) but everything seems to fit and the interiors have been designed to make use of all available space.
These folks travel around the country at will, their biggest worry is where they’re going to be able to park in the evening to sleep. How do these people afford this lifestyle? Most that I’ve viewed do actually have jobs they can perform remotely. Some however fall under the “I don’t know” category and I can only assume they are financially stable along with making a little money, monthly, from their uploaded videos(All of the alway encourage viewers to subscribe to their channel, which is free, and also hit the “like” button on the particular video to credit them via some algorithm). This is not a lifestyle I’ve ever considered, and I’m not considering it now Why? I’ve travelled quite a bit in my life and at this point, I like having one place to come home to every evening. I find these peoples “adventures’ a little interesting, but more of a pain in the ass than a real adventure.
