I’ve written a couple of essays here on the abuse of children from the Catholic Church. I promised my readers I would continue to do so because I think that abuse of another person, especially a child, by someone in power, someone that is trusted, should be decried for what they are: A rapist.
There’s more news in the Catholic Church child abuse scandal I thought I might report. As this story gathers steam, I’ve decided to continue to write about it. We all need to do what we can to keep this story alive and do what we can to hold those accountable that have been sexually abusing children for decades, if not longer.
I’ve been wavering on whether or not to write again about the Catholic Church and the child abuse scandal in Pennsylvania, but I decided I needed to because if some of us don’t continue to shine a light on it, and not just in Pennsylvania but elsewhere, then this story will just disappear, as it has already begun to.
By now, everyone has read about the horrendous development in Pennsylvania concerning the Catholic church and the abuses of Priests with children that’s been documented in a 900 page Grand Jury report.
