Like many of you, I think about this pandemic, and our collective response(s) to it often. I’m not obsessed, it’s just hard to get away from whenever you turn on the news or yes, your computer to look at stories that are trending. They all seem to be pandemic related. Canada? Just today I read that there was a serious look at moving the military in to break up the protestors. How about a few days before when GoFundMe attempted to steal monies donated to those same protestors?

I find in interesting that the same people that were poo-pooing the vaccine as it was developed under Trump because it was developed under Trump are now saying that everyone must get this vaccine. What these people don’t understand is that Americans aren’t stupid and no, we do not have short memories. Both Biden and Harris, while campaigning in 2020 said they would not take the vaccine developed under the Trump administration. So what’s changed? Well a new CDC director and I think FDA administrator but to be sure, the majority of the people that worked there under the Trump administration, are there in the Biden administration. Also, it is the same vaccine.

So what does it mean if Joe Biden implements rules for companies with over 100 employees that these businesses must verify that their employee’s are fully vaccinated or regularly (weekly) test negative for COVID? Think about this for a moment. Does the company have to have someone, like a greeter at Walmart check each employee’s status daily? If someone refuses to take the vaccin, is the company responsible for performing the testing? The employee? How much will that cost and at that point, is it easier for the employee to finsd work at a business with 90 employees?
