Quitting Organized Skepticism Because?

Well, it appears theres a well known skeptic (to some) that’s decided to quit organized skepticism

One Hayley Stevens tweeted this out today:

I really don’t know anything about this woman, but she seems to attract attention on Twitter occasionally for statements she makes. Perusing her timeline doesn’t really give anyone a clue as to why she’s quitting “organized skepticism”. In fact, I looks like some of her followers are confused about it as well and ask what caused this decision. Her answer? “everything”.

Well that explains a lot.

Good luck in your future endeavors Ms. Stevens. I guess.

  1. I can’t say I’ve heard of her, but announcing that one is quitting and then not quitting anything seems to be a fairly common tactic. I’m not sure what makes it appealing, but I’ve seen it many times.

    • I find it very bizarre behavior. Someone on Twitter told me that “she’s done this 3-4 times before”. Having a bad day are we? Everyone does now and again.

  2. The quit threats are repeated from this young woman. She often returns once her social media groupies cheer her up. Pay her no heed. A born attention seeker and drama fiend.
