I think that this is a reason a lot of people, in and out of government are caling to abolish the FBI, or at least have a radical reformation starting at the top. When a whistleblower refers to the FBI as having a “mob-like mentality” says quite a bit I think and these allegations on further the loss of trust the general public have in that institution. it started long before the recent Trump raid and even though being under terrific scrutiny just for that, doesn’t seem to phase the FBI management at all. It’s almost as if, no matter what is revealed, no one will be able to prevent them from continuing as is. Except maybe Congress, who could refuse to fund them.
