Little Remembrance Left

Even on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the news has a segment on Trump. Maybe more than one because I stopped paying attention at the first mention. The coverage of the late Queen Elizabeth II was more interesting than anything else and I had the opportunity to learn things about her I had not known. Even though the same media outlets give a lot of airtime to remembrance of 9/11, thy do little anymore to remember th event whatsoever. It has become a distant memory for many and just like the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, it’s slowly getting to the point of being barely mentioned. I can understand now why my parents, who lived through WW2, were somewhat chagrined, 20 years later, when Pearl Harbor and WW2 were hardly ever represented except in movies. This is what will become of 9/11 soon.
