You can rewrite history, but only when all the witnesses are dead. Thar’s what I think about when I see young Americans attempting to blame Israel for all the woes of the Arab peoples in the West Bank and Gaza. Attempting to rewrite history and blame not only the current conflict on Israel’s IDF, forgetting that this war began with Hamas invading Israel and killing more than 1200 people and taking more than 200 hostage.

Every war of Arabs against Israel began by Arabs attacking Israel.It began not long after the founding of the JEwish State, MAy, 14, 1948, and contines today. That’s right. Iran recently launched more than 300 drones and rockets aginst Israel with little damage. Israel fird back, blowing the hell out of some of Iran’s military infrastructure. Note that Iran had not responded since.

But Hamas in the South and Hezbollah in the orth continue their decades old harassment of Israel ,firing rockets into Israeli territory daily. ‘’’israel responds with pinpoint strikes by air, to take out the launchers. In some people’s mind, this makes Israel the aggressor.

Just look at the history of the Arab-Israeli Wars: Were any of them started by Israel? No, it was the “Arab Powers” that wanted Jews out of what had become known as “Palestine”. But ask anyone under, say, 30, and college “educated” and they’ll propagandize you for hours, given the chance, that all of these wars are Israel’s to blame.

Isn’t it interesting that propaganda trumps truth in this day and age? We need to bring the truth back to the world and that begins, in my opinion, with a press/media that is neutral and presents only facts, not dreams and wishes. Next, our politicians. Throw out those that would blame the victim. Would those same do that to a rape victim? I wonder.

There aren’t multiple truths in any argument. There is only one truth based on real, not imagined, facts and the sooner we bring people back to this realization, the soomer we begin to not only solve this particular issue, but many more that face human kind.
