In a recent poll, people were asked of they believed the President Trump had a plan for the Iran conflict. In routing numbers, 91% of democrats, 72% of independents and 19% of republicans polled say that they don’t believe in whatever the plan is that Trump has for Iran right now. sO that means that 81% of republicans say yes, right? That’s good, right? Well, sure, but anyone would expect that just like there are 91% of democrats that don’t believe there’s a clear plan for Iran. If I were a staff member in the White House though, I wouldn’t be bragging about this because 72% of independents don’t believe there’s a plan either. In order to make any headway, or even maintain the slim majorities he has now, the president needs a majority of independents, or at least a heck of a lot more than 28% that believe in whatever the plan is for Iran.

So now the kinetic activity we’re taking is blockading the Hormuz strait, using economics to get the Iranians to give up. But didn’t president Trump say in the beginning, nothing less than unconditional surrender would be acceptable? Now we’re negotiating our way out of this debacle. That’s right, our way out. Everything Trump was told in the beginning about this attack on Iran has been wrong from the uprising of the civilian population creating regime change to the complete and utter destruction of tIran’s military, both offense and defense to the point a gaggle of geese could conquer the country (maybe).

Of course, none of this is his fault. Whose fault is it that Iran is running us in circles? Notice, no one of consequence in the White House or War Department has been fired. He’s at a point that because he believed his own propaganda that he has to come away with an actual win, not just take his ball and go home, declaring victory. He’s too far into a war to jusr=t stop. It’s now all about his legacy and the narcissist that Trump is won’t allow any damage to be done there.

Finish it as soon as possible. Then get back to what you’re supposed to be doing: making the lives of Americans better.
