I’m just going to come out and say iy: 99.999% of the world doesn’t care about the so-called Charlie Kirk Conspiracy, or any of the shenanigans circling it right now. For those unaware, Charlie Kirk was a conservative political activist, focused on young people (high school and college age) to attempt to influence their political and cultural views. Nothing wrong with that at all. In fact, he became very successful in his endeavor. In 2025, someone took too much offense and murdered him. Very sad. Not just for his family and friends, but those that followed him closely.
Since then (September 10, 2025 actually) there’s been a lot of online speculation about this incident almost to the level of theJFK assassination in 1963(I may be exaggerating here). There are those that believe there was some sort of inside plot to replace Charlie because he was going to stop supporting the Zionist contingent within his company, and among his donors. Others think it was just a crazed, lone gunman, angry at himself and the universe that picked a political adversary to vent towards. Currently, the second hypothesis is sitting in jail, awaiting trial.
None of what has come out in the mainstream media have charted those that believe n some sort of conspiracy. It remains one of the top trending issues online, months after the death and arrest of the shooter. Lines have been drawn, sides have been taken, and rhetorical weapons have been deployed. People all over the Internet, from TikTok to Youtube, to Rumble, are attempting, pting to cash in on the clicks for their opinions and further, their attacks on their opponents in this argument. Just go on X and see what’s trending.
But there’s a problem with all of this from what I can tell. As I mentioned above, some 99.999% of people are completely unaware of this online Battle for the Truth. Okay, my numbers are just guesses and you probably already figured out but they’re based on my own real world experience.
I don’t have a large number of friends, so anything I write from here on won’t exactly be scientific in nature, but I’d ask my readers to do the same with their circle of friends. Of 12 friends, 6 colleagues, and 2 family members I asked about Charlie Kirk, only 1 had even heard of him before, and was unsure the context. None knew about an assassination of a political activist last year (even though it was covered a lot in the news), and none were aware of any controversy. I really thought that this outcome was odd, especially the knowledge of the death, but maybe, in the context of everyday life nowadays, people are no longer shocked by the violence that occurs around them everyday. Of course, a lot of people don’t watch the news anymore and that might be a reason as well.
It’s still curious though. it confirms what I have thought for a long time in that all of these internet controversies are just that and don;t affect the general population at all, even to the point of people being aware of anything happening.
