Let’s Let More Illegals in Before the Mid-Terms

The White House is demanding that the State of Arizona become complicit in allowing illegals to cross the border into Arizona by removing some temporary barriers installed by the state, to fill in some gaps in the border wall. The legal reasoning? Part of the land is managed by the Bureau of Reclamation and the other is part of a Native American Reservation. Also, there has been an award to finish one part of the wall (that BR controls) that Arizona has moved to temporarily block access. Of course, awarding a contract means nothing as the contract must be funded before any work may begin. So, the feds are just trying to gaslight the public again. Another question would be if the feds have permission to finish the wall on reservation land? If not, what’s the difference? Well, it’s simple. A state is attempting to protect itself. from being overrun by illegals from more than 100 countries and of course the federal government can’t be shown up by a state, or made to seem complicit in hunab and drug trafficking. Governor Ducey should just give them the finger. When Kari Lake is elected next month and takes office in January? She will.

Trust Me

Remember all of the ”Trust me” t-shirts? Trust me, I’m a Doctor. Trust me, I’m a Lawyer, as a couple of examples. Well amongst all my Fender and Gibson t-shirts , I found my own “Trust me” t-shirt. I barely remember buying it and it’s in perfect shape probably having been worn maybe 2 or 3 times. It reads, “Trust me, I’m a Cowboy”. Why would anyone trust a cowboy? Simply, put, it’s a person that’s placed aside societal norms to live by a simple code of honesty, charity, and loyalty to their friends and of course, love of family. That may seem ancient morality to some, but it’s what formed our country and allowed us to become a great country. At least at one time. Maybe we can get back to that in the future. Don’t despair, there’s a lot of us around, Cowboys.

Election Deniers

I’ve been called an Election Denier because I have problems with the way the 2020 Presidential election was held in many states. Suddenly, because of the pandemic, mail-in voting changed in states that used to require proof, now didn’t even require a signature on ballots. This meant I, you,, anyone, could fill out as many ballots as we wanted and send them in without a single repercussion. All we hear is that there was little to no fraud in 2020. That proclamation was made before any state investigations had even begun. The media have made a really big deal about the 2020 “election deniers” and believe that we, the people, have little or no memory. Here’s Kari Lake candidate for Governor in Arizona taking on the media, again.

What Voters Care About

The other “issue” thst seems to dominate Democratic campaigns currently is “January 6”. That being the riot that occurred at the Capitol in 2021 and has allowed the Democrats to preen on camera for a year now “investigating” this “insurrection”. First, yes, this was an unspeakable act for anyone to participate in, no matter party affiliation. Second, there was no “insurrection” as there were no armed people among the rioters. Third, Capitol Police opened the doors and allowed people to wander around the halls. Where’s the video of the violence by these rioters? Compare this to the Summer of 2020. Where’s that investigation, by the way? But, during these mid-terms, along with abortion, this is what Democrats have to offer the voters that are struggling to pay utility, grocery, gasoline, and other bills as well as worrying about just walking down the street in their town without being assaulted. January 6th barely registers in any voter surveys and abortion is as low or lower on voters minds. The President, today in a speech said tht abortion was his number one priority for the beginning of the year. No kidding. He’s promising to “codify” Roe v Wade. People were applauding, although the crowd was tiny at best. Nancy Pelosi still believes, at least she says this in interviews, that the Democrats will hold both Houses of Congress. I think she’s in wishful mode rather than tracking with reality. T/he issues voters care about have Republicans up double digits over Democrats, who only seem to care about “issues” that voters don’t.

Why Do You Believe?

I sometimes hear questions from people that I don’t quite understand. For instance, “Why (or how) did you choose the god you believe in”? I think that most people today that believe in any sort of god, were raised that way and have never known anything different.Unlike in our past where people were conquered and forced to take on their new masters’ god(s). The current large religions today, Christianity and Islam, have that history. Of course, people are (mostly) free today to decide what they want to believe or not. So it’s perfectly reasonable that someone chose one belief over another and the reasons for doing so are numerous. I used to make fun of questions like that but no longer because the circumstances are always more complicated than what they look like, Still, i find it curious that someone would even have to ask a question as to why or how someone came to believe in whatever thry do believe in at the time/
