This is Not Our War

I knew this was coming, and soon. No surprise about the timing either:of course the execution is going to happen over a weekend and also when least expected: Like shabbat for Israel and of course Ramadan for Iran. For the Americans? Just another
Friday night, Saturday morning. I’m disappointed. I was hoping that there would be no war with Iran no matter how hard the Israeli government was pressing ours as well the the black commentary of our own Fifth columnists (Yes, you know who I am referring to here).

I’m sure there are people in the presidentrs circle that will give him all of the reasons not to take this step. They’ll talk about all of the possible unintended consequences, like is the current Iranian government falls, and there’s nothing there to replace it. Or, even worse, a civil war erupts over multiple factions. In 2011, the United States, along with some of its NATO allies, decapitated the Libyan regime of Mohammar Khadaffi. Libya is now referred to as a failed state with at least two factions claiming authority and in the meanwhile, Libya has become a haven for terrorist groups and, get this: open slave markets. The idea was to eliminate a supporter of terrorism (Khadaffi) and create an democratic society in it;’s place. What was created is nothing more than a hell hole.

Can we expect anything better from a free Iran? We have no idea and we actually have had no success in nation building. The Pavlavi’s would love to come back to power (the son of the former Shah), but they is an unknown in that country and just like Iraq when the U.S. tried to push their favorite guy on those people, I’m pretty sure the Iranians would reject that family. A leaderless state with western countries trying to determine not only who, but what kind of government Iran will end up with. Does anyone believe the Iranians are going to throw over one master for another? Don’t believe anything the Zionist Fifth Column say. Their interests are not America’s.

Keep out soldiers, sailors, and airmen in mind. No more caskets over some middle east adventure.
