there’s a YouTube channel I watch on a semi-regular basis, Zach Costello. He’s an interesting guy, very opinionated, and for my entertainment, clearly a conspiracy theorist. He has been openly doubtful of the official story of Charlie Kirk’s murder last year and spends an inordinate amount of time on his channel, discussing the case directly, or the machinations of turning Point, Kirk’s company now run by his widow.

Another important fact to mention about Zach: He comes across as fairly religious, specifically Roman Catholic. That’s okay as well. I mea, there’s something around 70 million Americans that identify that way so it wouldn’t be unusual to find someone that actually practices what his belief preaches (or appears to do so). After several months though, he has really stepped forward and is forming his own not for profit, to compete with Turning Point Faith (one of the Turning Point companies) to evangelize /america, one christian convert at a time.

What’s curious about this is that in the introduction to his announcement, he mentioned that it was cwetain ideologies that had taken over our country that he wanted to counter, the first mentioned? Of course, atheists. what does he know about atheists and our diabolical plan to take over the world? Absolutely nothing. All he knows is that atheists reject the existence of god and that’s enough to place atheism at the top of his list. the second was feminism and his reason was that feminists have been working against the nuclear family for decades and, along with atheists, is a reason our country has fallen to where it is today. I won;t go any further than these two because, well, pointing fingers at others without taking some responsibility yourself is fairly common in his world (Christianity).

One other area of curiosity for me was when he spoke about Christianity and the “1500 years” of real Christianity. He was clearly leaving out of his announcement around 200. million people that refer to themselves as christian, but not specifically Catholic. So, all through his online presentation I was asking myself if this new organization would be open to other “Christians” or not.

I’m still not sure, but as an atheist, it’s nice to be noticed, even if the mention is as usual, negative.
