A quick note about all these Bible posts lately. This isn’t a sudden conversion or a new obsession — it’s a subject I’ve been interested in for a long time, and I’ve decided to treat it as an ongoing series here on the blog.

Some of the questions are genuinely fascinating: Did Paul teach something different from Jesus? Should the Gospel of Thomas be taken seriously? Where the Bible disagrees with itself, or the scholars who study it disagree with each other, that’s where I want to dig in. So expect posts like these on and off from now on, in between everything else.
