Bullying Won’t Win You Friends. Or Compliance.

I’ve noticed quite a few people that I know personally, or are familiar with on social media that, right now, are claiming they will not be bullied by President Biden’s threats to get vaccinated. Before anyone believes they know the ideology or just plain politics of any of these people let me say, that no, you probably don’t. A couple of people I know personally are in fact very liberal and are not in any wat anti-vaccination. Those that I am familiar with on social media are split I think: some conservatives, a few libertarians, and yes, there are liberals there as well. At least for me this tactic has yes, divided the country in a large way but in another way has brought some together on at least this single issue that would probably not happen on any other, or at least few other, issues.

You Can’t Force 80 Million to Comply via Threats

I’ve been meaning to comment here on all of the turmoil that seems to be emanating from the White House recently but it has become so pervasive in a short period of time that I find myself in a quandary concerning what exactly I should be upset about on any given day. There’s just so much, isn’t there? The real question comes as to which topic (Afghnistan, COVID, Economy, etc.) takes precedence over any other. Well, the Presidents speech put that to rest for now. His lies and his clear attempt to polarize the country as I heard one commenter on TV refer to Biden’s polarization was no different than calling the unvaccinated lepers.

When Asked, Refuse to Answer

I’ve been asked multiple times recntly, if I’ve ben vaccinated against COVID. Why is that important to other people and isn’t it my right to keep my personal medical information private? All I see on television, (well, that’s a bit of an exaggeration) are public serice announcements about getting vaccinated. when, in front of the Senate recently, Dr. Anthony Fauci was asked what percentage of his staff at NIAID had been vaccinated. He didn’t know but if he had to guess? Upwards of 60%. Two other agency heads were at the same meeting, one of them the CDC, and both agreed with Fauci said: maybe 60%.So the people (government) pressing for people to get vaccinated are not themselves, being vaccinated.

What’s Going on With These Vaccines?

I think everyone, at least everyone I know, knew that because of the rush to produce an effective vaccine for COVID, that there would still be some side effects, some unanticipated even though yes, they did run all of these through thousands of people in the abbreviated trials. Even without the rush to production, it’s known that medications of all sorts have side effects some minor, others that could be major to the point of being life threatening. Don’t believe that? Watch the inundation of commercials of various drugs from rheumatoid arthritis to cancer: the manufacturer mentions in every case every possible side effect even if the chance of some effects are low. It gives a person pause: at least it does me. Would I want to take that particular medication not knowing if it was going harm me in some way or even kill me?

If You’re Old or Sick, You’re Worth Less Than a Politician.

The rollout of the new vaccine – rules determined by a panel at the CDC – should tell us all we need to know about what unelected bureaucrats think of the American people. In a story just out from a conservative news site, Brietbart, representative Tulsi Gabbard goes on a tear about how this is being done. For months during the development of these vaccines, what was it we were all told? The people most vulnerable to the virus should be first in line. Who are those people? Did we suddenly forget?
