A massive survey shows that people are generally shifting to the right politically. I am of course somewhat taken back even though this is a survey of some 8.6 million people. We all know though how these things work, at least in the recent past. We’ve learned that polls and surveys of adults, registered or likely voters may be completely wrong. Look at the election of Donald Trump in 2016. not a single mainstream poll had him winning. There’s others that prognosticate everything from the economy to climate change and I don’t think it’s possible to just take any as what people actually believe. But 8.6 million people? Well, there’s a lot of data in the article so make up your own mind. I remain, as always skeptical.
