Britain to Allow Fracking Again

The Brits have wizened up, the new Prime Minister has lifted the ban on fracking as well as approving 100 new licenses to explore in the North Sea. This is in response to what appears to be a dire winter for citizens of the U.K. Their overwhelming push for green energy over the last decade has caused serious shortages in fossil fuels, as well as the contentious relationship with Russia who’ve been cutting off exports to western Europe. They have to do something and it looks like the U.K. is moving on the right direction. Of course, these approvals won’t change the facts on the ground overnight, it can take months, once exploration is approved, for any results to be realized. Hopefully the U.K. will be able to withstand this winter and will have a more promising spring and future.
