I had a feeling this would happen. By “this” I mean the manufactured outrage over the Dobbs decision last June that overturned Roe v Wade would be oivershadowed by those issues directly affecting every American family, like, you know, immigration. I have to give credit to governors Ducey (AZ) , Abbott (TX) and DeSantis (FL) for bringing what most media considered a local issue into the mainstream as a national issue and above that, a National Security issue. The pro-abortion activists that attempted to make Dobbs a major issue for the upcoming election forgot that there were indeed other issues more important to voters and even recent polls show that some 80% believe there should be restrictions to abortion. None believe, as far as I can tell, that we all need to skip a few meals in order to pay for our electric bill or gas for our car.
