Is There a Split in MAGA? (Answer: NO)

Ever notice how some people come across as fair weather friends? You know, the person that stops being a friend in times of difficulty? We’ve all either had a personal experience or know someone who has.I’m beginning to see that among conservatives, so called MAGA adherents when it comes down to a difference o0f opinion. That’s right, it’s just opinion and of course, people on either side of the debate attempt to justify their view with facts. It’s not always a fact that being presented though. Sometimes it’s an emotional response to an activity.

Two recent stores come to mind. The first is the Candace Owens investigation into Charlie Kirk’s assassination. I have to admit that the guy they arrested doesn’t seem to be the type to make that kind of a shot even over the “short” distance. I haven’t heard, but I’m interested in his history with a rifle. Has he been a recreational shooter, spending time at a firing range? A hunter? I don’t know and it’s curious to me of those that have been paying closer attention to this than me, they don’t know either. Candace seems to be taking it in the neck though for her doggedness in investigating. Some of it seems rather silly to me but sometimes, what seems to be improbable.turns out not only to be probable, but at minimum a shade of the truth. I watch people online ranting about how she’s destroying her career as a podcaster, but all I notice is how her numbers are steadily increaing week by week while those that have been harassing her, sink.

Now there’s a war going on with Iran which has of course done the same as far as splitting MAGA, if you were to listen to the media. The problem I see with this is simple: Americans began this century going to war (Afghanistan) and here we are, in 2026, still being the policeman of the middle east. Americans are tired of this and show it in polls. Currently, as I write, Americans are evenly split over this conflict. Of course that could change depending on how it’s executed, and probably will. The issue I have is where was the immanent threat? Ask that honestly of someone that’s not a trained seal (warmonger) and yo come up with the answer of “I don’t know”. So, a couple of really popular podcasters, Megyn Kelly and Tucker Carlson, have been asking that and a lot more questions that no one in authority is willing to answer. Are we really going to war because this is something that is in another country’s interest, and not our own? I’ve seen the warmongers attacking both despicably. Of course, ad hominem is the tool of the intellectually defcient: When your argument fails, call your opponent names.

But like Candace Owens above, both of these podcasters are seeing the same thing. Their viewership is rising where their nasty-mouthed critics some very “Christian” continue to decline. One is so awful, I felt I needed to mute him on X. He is the Israel First and Forever guy, proving to a degree what Carlson and Kelly have been saying about this war. Some of them used to call these two “friend”. That must have been a lie, like everything these talk about daily on their shows.

I’m thinking all three of these are probably crying all the way to the bank. It’s what happens when you provide a product that the public wants.
