I don’t lnow if I’m incoherent or people that I know only hear what they want to hear. I’ve been remonstrated with again for being anti-vax and anti-mask concerning the now dying pandemic. Oh, and that whole dying thing? Yeah, because of the other two above, I am somehow responsible for people, not just in my community, but around the world!, dying from COVID.

I know. It’s been a while since I’ve blogged about anything. Months. Lots of things have been going on for everyone and of course one of the topics that people are still concerned about (although it’s dropped in polling) is spread of COVID. We’re all, or mostly all aware that the latest variant, Omicron, is the active variant as I write this and it appears that even though it is highly contagious, doesn’t appear to be as deadly as the last variant, Delta, or the original virus from 2020.

Another day, more blockbuster information coming in to me concerning COVID. I can’t seem to go more than a couple of days without either seeing something myself or someone else sending me something that I find fascinating and worth passing on to everyone. I am not, and don’t pretend to be an epidemiologist , virologist, or immunologist so I can’t and won’t vouch for everything I see and write about. But the sources are usually public and the information I pass along here is from those kinds of sources. Individuals that send me links to COVID information are trusted by me. By that I mean these people have a level of knowledge above mine and therefore what they purvey, I believe I can take as being as valid as anything I may see in the news or anywhere else.

They’re not even trying to hide it anymore, what’s that you say? All of those people from the government that told us we have to follow the science and not be influenced ideologically. about COVID and especially the vaccines. Remember when President Biden stood before the American people and pushed for all to receive a booster shot if they’d had the original vaccine for at least 6 months? Recall he said it was going to be available on September 20th, and he wanted everyone eligible to get the booster ASAP. This was, of course, contingent on approval of the booster by the FDA, which it seems he thought would be a slam-dunk. Boy was he surprised!

There are occasions when I will hear or read a story about health care workers refusing to be vaccinated. The reasons never seem to be spelled out, or if they are somewhere,, they are not in anything I have read. When I say I heard a story, mostly it’s from people I know and therefore anecdotal as far as I’m concerned because, again, there are few dtails as to why these healthcare workers are refusing to be vaccinated.
