No Italy’s New Government Isn’t Fascist

It looks like Italians have elected a conservative coalition to lead their government. Wait, I got that wrong. According to U.S. media, Italy has elected a neo-fascist government reminiscent of Benito Mussolini. Don’t believe me? Here’s what CBS News had to say in a tweet:

Voters in Italy appear poised to elect a far-right prime minister tomorrow — Giorgia Meloni, the woman expected to win, leads a neo-fascist movement, reminiscent of Benito Mussolini’s own political party.

Yes, they say that but have never in any of their reporting stated what it is that is “far-right” or “neo-fascist”. The policies she supports appear to be not much different than principles conservatives here in the U.S. and other countries adhere to without necessarily being called a fascist (well, until Biden was elected. Then? Any pretense of civility went away). No one should be surprised here that the left is willing to pull out the fascist, even Nazi card, if they believe it will further their cause,. It won’t and doesn’t because slowly, people around the world are waking up to the atrocities owned by the left. Want to see it in action? Keep count of the freezing and starvation in Europe (you know France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, etc.) because those governments bought the “green con” completely and instead of slowly implementing green policies, shutdown fossil fuel power generation as well as nuclear.Their farmers, due to fuel and electricity costs right now, are allowing crops that should be harvested to rot in fields. This is what the current administration is looking forward to in our country. the good news for us is the impending mid-term elections.
